• JOB SUMMARY:
  Have a strong background in polymer science, materials engineering, and process optimization. As a Principal PTFE Tubing and FEP Extrusion Engineer, will be responsible for designing, developing and improving extrusion processes suitable for medical application.
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  1. Support the installation and start-up of the extrusion line ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
  2. Develop and optimize extrusion processes for efficiency, yield and quality through the use of Design of Experiments (DoE), prototyping, testing and verification.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, performance and cost effectiveness.
  4. Generate and train production staff on operating and safety procedures.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety, quality and compliance at all times.
  6. Provide technical support to the manufacturing teams, by troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to processes, materials and equipment.
  7. All other project related tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

任职要求

• EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or a related field, Master’s would be preferred.
  2. Proven experience in PTFE tubing and FEP extrusion processes for medical devices.
  3. Familiarity with extrusion machinery, die design, and process parameters.
  4. Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
  5. Knowledge of resin, polymer properties, rheology, and thermal behavior.
  6. Excellent analytical ability.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Excellent communication skills with written and spoken proficiency in English.
  9. Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements.
