• The Analytics and Tolling Operations Manager will be in charge of managing toll processing operations for SQM in China and to analyze data related to our whole Supply Chain Operation in China.
  
  Responsibilities
  
  • Data Analysis:
  o Measure regularly the performance of our third-party partners (tolling, trucking and storage services)
  o Evaluate and control budgets and expenditures. Keep track of the monthly invoicing of our third-party logistic operators.
  o Keep track and report regularly Supply Chain market news and trends in China and overseas.
  o Develop, maintain and analyze different performance metrics of our supply chain and production operations.
   Production Yields
   Lead Times
   Cost
   Warehouse Inventory Levels vs Capacity
   Distances between port, warehouses, customers and production operations.
  
  • Tolling Third Party Operations Management:
  o Negotiate, Manage and Supervise our toll processing operation contracts (conversion of our Lithium into a higher purity product) with third parties - production yields, rates, etc.
  o Develop and select third party tolling partners.
  o Lead and supervise a team of 1-2 logistic coordinators.
  o Inventory Management and Balance Analysis at the Toller’s site
  o Monthly Reporting and presentations

  • Experience working for a multinational company for at least 5 years in a managerial position for the Supply Chain Area.
  • At least 5 year’s relevant work in at least five of below fields is essential;
  o Inventory control experience in handling and warehousing.
  o Imports and exports full process experience.
  o Ability to generate KPI system and calculate budgets and overall operations cost.
  o DG/NDG cargo regulation (Import, Export, Storage and Transportation) and required permits and documentation knowledge.
  o Regular contact with Customs/Customs brokers, having the possibility to get advice from those offices when needed.
  o Team Management and supervision.
  o Tolling/Manufacturing chemical management experience.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English languages.
  • Willingness to travel both national and international.
  • Master’s degree, with a Business, Chemical, Marketing or Logistics/Supply Chain background. Or equivalent by experience.
  • MS Office professional level.
  • International work and/or study experience abroad.
  • Experience in ERP, especially Microsoft Dynamic AX/SAP.
