Your Responsibilities
• Responsible to drive the requirements management along the whole battery development process.
• Drives cross-functional concept evaluation for BEV battery projects and link different development level like cell, module, electronic, mechanic, safety, software together with overall system scope.
• Drives the development of BEV battery projects with cross-functional scope in China region and synergies with Group globally.
• Responsible for technical release recommendation (BMG & K-Release) on battery system level for cross-functions and requirements management.
• Responsible for evaluation and influencing of China Market requirements and China Laws and Regulations/Policies (e.g. NEV Quota/Credits) for BEV battery system and car projects.
• Responsible for technical compliance release recommendation.
• Responsible for system safety, drive safety evaluation and analysis, define safety plan & requirements (acc. ISO26262 and VW Group methods) linked with different development level like cell, module,
• Responsible for competence and knowhow sharing for technical topics within BEV battery development and beside teams.
• Responsible to ensure development's execution of Golden Rules requirement.
• Responsible for project specific evaluation and compliance check according to Chinese and Global standards & regulations.
• Performing individual task-related duties in accordance with the knowledge and experience of the position holder.
• Advising other people holding positions at VCIC, its subsidiaries/associate companies, or cooperating organizations upon request and in consultation with the appropriate people responsible.

Required Qualification
• Engineering degree in automotive, electrical, mechanical or respective fields
• 3+ years, battery and/or E/E experience preferred
• Inter cultural affinity and ability to empower people.
• Skilled with efficient management of complex projects with many stakeholders.
• Self-organized and analytical thinking.
• Convincing, strong ability to negotiate.
• Strong problem solving abilities in complex environment.
• Experience with requirements management and the necessary tools (e.g. DOORS).
• Language: Fluent English is must, Chinese and/or German is appreciated.
