• • Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers and Product Development Managers to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges using best Design for Excellence practices and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with material selection, process definition, and tooling to deliver potential mechanical solutions based on product requirements.
  • Manage external 3rd party ODM and engineering suppliers to develop next-generation products, providing technical support in problem solving, DFM, mechanical processes, tooling, and CMF development.
  • Partner with the Mechanical Design team to optimize designs, including reviewing TSA and DFMEA, to ensure robustness.
  • Take ownership of resolving technical issues related to mechanical processes, materials, and tooling.
  • Drive product development and prototyping according to an agreed plan, ensuring consumer preferences, safety, and regulatory compliance through robust project methodology and sound technical and scientific methods.
  • Ensure on-time and in-full delivery of device specifications for new products and/or product modifications.
  • Capture and address build issues during engineering builds, coordinating corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Escalate risks and issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Manage projects following best project management practices.
  • Foster strong working relationships with third-party suppliers and internal teams, including innovation technology.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Development Managers to plan and implement development strategies for future generations.
  • Support the development of a strong talent pipeline in R&D through coaching, guidance, and continuous professional improvement.

任职要求

• • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, focusing on high-volume consumer electronics product design and manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes including CNC, Stamping, Die casting, Rapid prototyping.
  • Strong knowledge in product decorate process, Plating, Anodizing, PVD, NCVM, Laser, CNC, Jointing etc.
  • Proficiency in tooling and fixture design, review, and manufacturing process development. Knowledge of 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, UG, FEA, and CFD.
  • Understanding of GD&T, with the ability to analyze and challenge tolerance stack-ups for assemblies to meet gap/step requirements.
  • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, root cause analysis, design of experiments (DOE), statistical process control, measurement system analysis (MSA), and statistical data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex manufacturing challenges, yield improvement, and cost reductions.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at senior levels.
