• Brief description of the position:
  Position holder independently advises TECH CO Senior Management/BUs on R&D related legal issues and contracts. It serves as a representative of the Legal Department in relevant R&D committees. Position holder is advising R&D BUs on development and cooperation projects and related contracts as well as provide TECH CO Senior Management with legal consultation and advice an R&D related matters.
  
  
  Key tasks:
  Legal Counsel for advice on decisions related to R&D projects
  Regularly advise/instruct various departments regarding legal R&D issues and queries arising from their daily activities, e.g. regarding product development matters
  Independently research and provide comprehensive analysis on all kinds of related legal technical issues, prepare memos and legal opinions addressing the queries/request by BU
  Representation of Legal Department in relevant R&D related TECH CO steering and management committees/committees
  Provide legal consultation to TECH CO management, establish positive working relationship and raise awareness for technical legal R&D matters
  Recommend, advise and facilitate actions to avoid or mitigate legal risks to TECH CO BUs
  Legal Counsel for TECH CO. on legal matters in product development and business contracts with external parties and Group companies
  Exchange and align with legal R&D experts Experts of Volkswagen Brand and Group on all topics related to R&D
  Monitoring of legal technical framework/environment in Region China
  Additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor due to work requests

任职要求

• Qualification and skills:
  Master in law or similar legal education, preferably with additional technical degree or expertise
  5+ years professional experience in a leading law firm or a multinational company in China
  Familiar with relevant players in automotive area, including Chinese authorities
  Be mature and confident, with strong interpersonal skills
  Have the Ability to work independently, under pressure with commitment to tasks
  Actively align with other departments on management level through negotiations to ensure implementation of all R&D related legal matters
  Establish long-term working relationships on top management level and raise awareness for technical legal related matters
  Provide in-depth analysis and assessment of legal matters based on a factual approach, and identify risks
  Excellent English and Mandarin language skills (oral and writing)
